Professor Begley is a pre-eminent North American academic in the fields of Ethics and Values pertaining to learning, teaching and leadership. He has been the Director of the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) Centre for the Study of Leadership and Ethics for the past 8 years. In 2009, Prof Begley moved from Penn State University to establish an entirely new Centre for Leadership and Ethics at Nipissing University in Ontario, Canada.
He was in Australia with support from the Centre in Sydney and presented his workshop to participants in the ALAF program.
