GEND101 Introduction to Feminism

Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent of lectures, tutorials, workshops and seminars.

This unit will establish the fundamental perspectives and debates relating to Feminism. It will encourage students to analyse the construction of the feminine in a range of discourses. It will also examine feminism in a variety of contexts including issues pertaining to racial and cultural difference.
