EXSC661 Sport Law and the Regulatory Environment

Prerequisites Entry into the MBA program
Teaching Organisation 36 hours per semester.
This unit introduces the student to the most relevant areas of law, impacting on managers in Sport and Exercise enterprises. The focus will be on the general regulatory environment faced by managers and related knowledge and analysis of the legal concepts, practices and principles underlying both the operations of professional sport and the delivery of sport and exercise services to the public. The emphasis will be on the prevention of potential legal problems and the minimisation of risk.
