EXSC290 The Marine Environment and the Outdoor Experience

Prerequisites EXSC190 Foundations of Outdoor Experience and EXSC191 Journeying in the Natural World
Teaching Organisation 24 hours of lectures and 12 hours of tutorials/practical per semester.
This unit will explore the ecology of the marine environment and specific marine conservation issues. This unit will examine the scope of programs that use the natural environment to obtain educational or behaviour change. It will explore the use of a range of outdoor pursuit models that use marine and aquatic environments and will examine their potential applications.
