Teaching Organisation 24 hours of lectures and 12 hours of tutorials/practical per semester.
This unit addresses a critical health issue in contemporary society – that of the use and misuse of pharmacological substances. Particular attention is paid to the development of drug education strategies and the need to recognise the cultural, social, personal and environmental factors relating to drug use and abuse.
