EXSC261 Sport Policy Making and Planning

Prerequisites EXSC260 Introduction to Sport Management
Teaching Organisation 24 hours of lectures and 12 hours of tutorials/practical per semester.
Familiarisation with social, public, and corporate policies and familiarisation with them and their implementation will form the basis of this unit. Sport and its management are seen as dependent upon the context provided by major forces in these three domains. Emphasis will be placed on the skills of analysis and evaluation and the implications for facility planning and development.
