EDSS417 Commerce and Business Studies Curriculum and Teaching 2

This unit is designed to extend a knowledge base for commerce and business studies education that will develop competence and ability in the planning of experiences for senior secondary school students within the context of the relevant state curriculum documents. Emphasis is placed on commerce and business education as an interdisciplinary way of knowing as well as a discipline-based domain. It is also designed to develop in students a critical awareness of a range of approaches, resources and procedures applicable to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation in Commerce 7-10 and Business Studies.
