Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 12 weeks or equivalent.
Econometrics is the application of probability and statistical methods in economics. This unit is designed to introduce students to applied econometric methods and their applications in economics, business, finance and government. In applied econometrics the main technique used is regression analysis. This unit will apply econometric principals in research methodology and in the evaluation of economic policy.
