Prerequisites Entry into the Diploma in Liberal Studies (East Timor)
Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 13 weeks or equivalent.
This unit will introduce students to the history of East Timor. It will trace the changes that occurred in East Timor up to and beyond Potruguese colonial settlement through to Independence in 2002. Current issues facing East Timor will be addressed in the context of the history of the country.
