Prerequisites Entry into the Diploma in Liberal Studies (East Timor) and EBLO300 Language and Literacy 1
Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for 13 weeks or equivalent.
This unit emphasises literacy learning in the first years of school. By using various literature and non-literary materials, magazines and different texts, especially those used by children, the students will develop their understanding about the nature, structures and the use of language. The students will study practices that promote the composition, as well as learning techniques to control the use and improvement of language.
