This unit provides students with a comprehensive overview of superannuation and allows them to develop a workable understanding of superannuation from the perspective of the financial planner. The implications of superannuation strategies related to wealth maximisation for retirees are also included. The goals, objectives and strategies of retirement planning are discussed with a view to maximising the wealth of individuals in order to achieve lifestyle expectations upon retirement. This unit also provides an overview of the procedures and theories related to retirement and estate planning.
