This unit builds upon content introduced in Contexts of Paramedicine 1 by introducing clinical skills and the principles of documentation through integrating the content of NRSG123 Contexts of Nursing 2 into a paramedical perspective.
Students will develop an understanding of birthing and the impact of illness upon the person, family and community from a holistic perspective. Application of critical thinking strategies will enable students to develop a person-centred approach to those requiring care in a variety of paramedic settings. Knowledge of health promotion will be applied across the lifespan.
