Minimum duration: 1 year full-time or equivalent part-time.

Graduate Certificate in Arts (Leadership) (Exit qualification only)

Minimum duration: 6 months full-time or equivalent part-time.

Course available at: Nominated sites – the course is available only at off-campus locations to specified cohorts by agreement

EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Requirements for Completion of the Degree

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1.  
    1. 40 cp from Core Units;
    2. 10 cp from MGMT619 Research Methods;
    3. 30 cp from other Research Units;
    4. 40 cp from Electives;

    or

  2.  
    1. 40 cp from Core Units; and
    2. 80 cp from Electives.

2. Exit Points

2.1 The Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Arts (Leadership) are available only as exit points from the Master’s degree.

2.2 A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Graduate Diploma in Arts (Leadership):

80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 40 cp from Core Units; and
  2. 40 cp from Research Units or Electives.

2.3 A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Graduate Certificate in Arts (Leadership):

40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 20 cp from Core Units; and
  2. 20 cp from Research Units or Electives.
