ACU facilities

The Melbourne Campus (St Patrick’s) has more than 8,900 students including over 1,000 international students. It is centrally located on the edge of Melbourne’s central business district (CBD) and is well serviced by easy to use trams.

Most facilities at the Melbourne campus will be available for delegates’ use during the Assembly. Some of these are:

Cafeteria

Ground floor, main campus building

  • Serves a range of food and drinks, with indoor seating.
  • Student lounge, on the lower ground level contains a bar, pool table, video games and a comfortable area to relax and socialise.

Raheen Library

Ground floor, main campus building

  • Houses a wide range of items for loan including texts, audiovisual material and curriculum material and also provides online access to a large collection of eBooks, eJournals and subject- specific databases.
  • Computers, laptops, scanners, printers and photocopiers available for use.
  • Contains communal and private study spaces, lounge areas and IT ports.

Gym

Lower Ground floor, Daniel Mannix building
Offers cardio and strength training machines, exercise classes, showers and many other services.

Computer access

Computer access for delegates will be set up close to Cathedral Hall.

Carparking

On campus multi-storey car parking is from Victoria Parade via Young Street and marked on the Campus map.
There is a $10 daily fee.

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop Chapel

Ground floor, Daniel Mannix building

This beautiful newly built chapel offers delegates a place for prayers or quiet contemplation and houses several medieval religious artefacts.
