Strathfield Campus Facilities

Cafeteria

The Mounties cafeteria is located near the Student Centre and provides well-priced food and drinks and an indoor seating area. There is also a courtyard with plenty of shade and seating.

Sport and RecreationSports

The Strathfield campus has rugby and soccer ovals as well as a cricket pitch.

Student Common Room

Located between the bookshop and the library is a common room for students to relax and socialise in. The room has a pool table, a number of comfortable couches, a TV and DVD player.

Parents’ Room

A room with facilities for nursing mothers and parents with small children is located near the quiet room behind the student common room.

Co-op Bookshop

Co-op Bookshop

The Co-op Bookshop is located near the cafeteria and can supply you with course material including text books, software, stationery, ACU merchandise, general books, student reference books and much more.

Co-op Lifetime Membership joining fee:
$20.00 (one off payment for lifetime membership). Forms are available at the shop.

Discount: 9% (excluding software and NETT items eg course notes) and 15% on featured catalogue titles. Members are entitled to specials on selected software during first semester.

Library

The Strathfield Campus library is located in the L building opposite the shaded area. The library houses a wide range of loan materials, computers, scanners, printers, photocopiers and AV facilities.

Your student card is also your library card. You will need it to borrow, photocopy and print. The library also has an extensive catalogue of eBooks and online resources and facilitates inter-campus, off-campus and inter-library services as well as borrowing from other universities.

Internet Access

There are a number of computer stations with free internet access within the Library, Edmond Rice Building and Clancy Building. Wireless access is available for personal computer users.
