Ballarat Campus Facilities
Canteen
The canteen, located in the Forbes Student Centre, serves a range of well-priced food and drinks. There are also vending machines on campus.
Sports and Recreation
Pool tables and table tennis tables are located in the Forbes Student Centre. The City Oval is two blocks away from the campus, where students can play cricket and football. Lake Wendouree is only a block from the Ballarat Campus (Aquinas) with walking, running and cycling tracks.
Parents' Room
A room with facilities for nursing mothers and parents with small children is located in Burke House.
Library
The Callinan Library is located in the front of the campus, directly opposite the student centre. The library houses a wide range of items for loan, including texts, audiovisual material and curriculum material and also provides online access to a large collection of eBooks, eJournals and subject-specific databases. There are computers, laptops, scanners, printers and photocopiers available for use. Inter-campus and reciprocal borrowing is available for all students and inter-library borrowing is available for higher degree students. Help is always available through the online Ask Your Librarian service.
Student Accommodation
Ballarat offers Camillus Residence, a modern complex of five and seven bedroom self-contained houses (79 places). A caretaker-supervisor resides on site. A housing officer is available to assist students with information about alternative accommodation options.
