Getting to the Ballarat Campus (Aquinas)

Our campus is at 1200 Mair Street, Ballarat.

You can reach us by bus, train or car - directions are provided below.


  • Travelling by bus
    Davis Bus Service offer services Monday to Saturday throughout the Ballarat area.

    There is a bus service that runs along Sturt Street Students alight from the bus at Talbot and Sturt Street, for a one block walk to Mair Street and the campus.

  • Travelling by train
    Regular daily train services are available to Melbourne and most country centres.

    Student concession application forms are available from VicRail.

  • Travelling by car
    The campus is so centrally located that everything is within walking distance. Students are encouraged to car-pool, or they can ride their bikes, or walk.

    Turn off the Western Highway at the first exit sign into Ballarat - 500m beyond the Big Woolshed/Brewery Tap Hotel. Proceed west into the city and through the built-up area for about 4 kms. Turn right at the Hungry Jack's traffic lights and follow this road that swings around to the left into Mair Street. Proceed west along Mair Street for approx. 3kms. Pass under the connecting overpass between Base Hospital (left) and St. John of God Health Care (right). ACU National is 300m beyond hospitals on the right.

    Limited off-street parking is provided on campus property. Street parking is subject to council parking restrictions. Students are encouraged to car pool whenever possible to reduce parking requirements.
