Master of Social Work launch

One of the newest postgraduate courses at ACU, the Master of Social Work, was launched last week at the University's Strathfield Campus.

More than 30 social work practitioners and ACU staff joined Professor Margot Hillel, Dean of Arts and Sciences, and Associate Professor Marea Nicholson, Associate Vice-Chancellor (Sydney), for drinks and canapés at the McGlade Gallery.

Available from 2010 in Brisbane, Canberra and Strathfield, the course will focus on the professional values and practices of the social work profession, with a strong commitment to ethical practice, human rights and social justice.
