'Let the Son Shine'

ACU staff and students are invited to attend the launch of Columban Missionary Father Charles Rue's book, 'Let the Son Shine', on Tuesday 8 September, which looks at climate change from an Australian Catholic perspective.

The event will be held in the Torney Room at the University's Ballarat Campus (Aquinas), with guests invited to continue to the City Oval Hotel in the evening.

Television and radio journalist, Geraldine Doogue, said "the book was quite a prophetic work… Its apparent simplicity and brevity hides an abundance of virtue."

The event will begin at 5pm, with the book launch and presentation by Fr Charles Rue commencing at 5.15pm.
