YOGA: Back by popular demand!
Campus Life at the Brisbane Campus (McAuley at Banyo) is again offering weekly yoga classes throughout Semester 2.
Classes are held every Wednesday outside the cafeteria at 11am and will run until Week 8.
Yoga is free for all ACU students and only $10 per class for staff members – or $6 per class if paid in advance.
The style of yoga offered is known as Dru Yoga. It is based on soft, flowing movements, directed breathing, and visualisation. It works on the body, mind, and heart by improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, and building a heightened feeling of positive awareness.
Dru Yoga is easy for everyone to learn regardless of age or fitness level.
