New staff appointments

Vice-Chancellor Professor Greg Craven recently announced the appointment of Ms Anne Cummins as a Professor of the University and Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Students, Learning and Teaching).

Professor Cummins will be based at the North Sydney Campus (Mackillop) and will commence her duties as PVC (SLT) from 1 July 2009.

Professor Cummins has a long standing commitment to the University, having previously held the Acting Dean of Students/Director of Ministry position and lead Australian Catholic University’s successful participation in World Youth Day.   

Associate Professor Anne Hunt has been appointed as Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy.

Since 2002, Professor Hunt has held the position of Rector/Campus Dean of the Ballarat Campus, while continuing her academic roles as lecturer, thesis supervisor and examiner at the University.

Brisbane Campus (McAuley at Banyo) Associate Professor Dr Karen Flowers has been assigned as Foundation Associate Dean (Nursing and Midwifery), Faculty of Health Sciences.

Associate Professor Flowers was formerly Associate Dean (Teaching, Learning and International) in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
