Demand Driven Funding Conference
Managing Quality & Growth
Entering the first stages of funding reform, the higher education sector is on the cusp of an intensely competitive era.
Whilst the demand driven funding model allows higher education providers greater flexibility to respond to student demand and increase the diversity of its student body, it carries with it some challenge. In a highly contested marketplace, it is vital that institutions achieve financial flexibility and responsiveness to ensure sustainable provision.
Under demand driven funding, universities, must look to ways to build institute wide capacity in order to respond to opportunities without compromising quality. It is critical that investment in facilities and resources is effectively balanced with quality of courses and student experience.
With guest speakers including ACU's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Greg Craven, the conference will focus on how to ensure quality and institutional excellence through strategic growth management and innovation and address;
• Defining and achieving strategy under a demand driven model
• Gaining internal buy-in to develop a unified university mission for quality and sustainable provision
• Managing risk of investment to ensure financial flexibility
• Developing an aligned admissions strategy
