'Gonski and Beyond'- Independent School Parent Funding Facts Forum
On March 29th 2012 Professor Scott Prasser will address the second Independent School Parent Funding Facts Forum at Santa Sabina College, Strathfield.
The event is organised by the NSW Parents’ Council, in conjunction with Santa Sabina College, the Association of Independent Schools of NSW (AISNSW) and the Independent Education Union NSW/ACT (IEU).
Along with Professor Prasser the panel members include Mr Bill Daniels, Executive Director, Independent Schools Council of Australia (ISCA), Dr Geoff Newcombe, Executive Director, AISNSW, Ms Kate Clancy, Principal, Santa Sabina College, Mr Dick Shearman, General Secretary, IEU NSW/ACT and Mr Stephen Grieve, President, NSW Parents’ Council.

Has white Australia worked out what it wants yet?
Fr Frank Brennan gave the annual address that opens the law year in Melbourne on Monday 30th January 2012, the title of which was 'Has white Australia worked out what it wants yet?'.
"One Aboriginal man who knew me from Redfern came up and had a great chat. He had some challenging questions for me, including, 'Has white Australia worked out what it wants yet?' So I had plenty to think about as I rode home. Mutual respect is always a good start".
