PPI

The Public Policy Institute has a national focus and is committed to engaging widely with a range of issues and groups.

Its location in Canberra enables it to access the nations key institutions and develop ongoing dialogues with senior decision makers in government, business and the community located in the nations capital. Equally, the Public Policy Institute recognises the importance of regional interests in building the nation and the need for different perspectives in the national debate.

  • adopt an explicitly ethical approach to its public policy advocacy
  • ensure values are a focus in current policy debates that impact on the dignity of human life and social inclusion
  • collaborate and partner with other universities, public organisations, business, and community groups on research, policy development and policy advocacy
  • the Public Policy Institute's focus will cover a range of policy issues within the context of effective public governance, best practice policy advice and democratic institutional processes.
