Thank you for your interest in the Institute of Legal Studies at ACU. The Institute is an exciting development, whose activities are constantly expanding across research, teaching, conferencing and engagement in the public square.
The Institute has a focus upon issues of justice, human rights, constructive public and political deliberation, and ethical legal practice.
The Institute conducts research, principally in the spheres of public international law, comparative constitutional law and international and national human rights law. It is committed to the pursuit of the common good and the betterment of society and its political and social institutions.
The Institute reaches out to the wider community through its courses, frequent conferences, public forums, public lectures and symposia.
