School of Education (NSW)
The School of Education NSW is pleased to announce its suite of professional development workshops for 2011. The workshops offer professional learning opportunities in a range of areas in teaching and learning.
Courses and programs are designed to enhance teachers' capacities as effective educators and keep them abreast with contemporary issues and innovations in classroom practice in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary school settings. All sessions are conducted by experienced academics and practitioners from ACU's School of Education NSW.
Workshops can be used to gain credit for a unit in Postgraduate Education courses at ACU through a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process. A number of the workshops have been endorsed as registered professional development by the NSW Institute of Teachers and can be used to support maintenance of accreditation at Professional Competence.
