Short Course on Christian Faith and Theology

An opportunity to explore the basics of Christian faith:

  • What is Theology?
  • Is Faith relevant today?
  • Who is God?
  • Why did Jesus die and rise from the dead?
  • What does it mean to live a Christian life?

Explore the world of Christianity with experts from the School of Theology at ACU: Dr. Joel Hodge, Dr. Christiaan Jacobs-Vandegeer, Dr. Maeve Louise Heaney VDMF, and Assoc. Prof. Patrick McArdle.

  • $80 for those requiring a Certificate of Attendance*
  • $40 attendance only

* A Certificate of Attendance is issued for hours towards maintaining accreditation to teach RE in Catholic Schools (Canberra and Goulburn). Each session gives 2 hours of accreditation.


Registration is essential and closes Friday, 5 August.


This course does not involve assessment and is not for university credit. It is a general introduction and is open to the public.
