Unit prerequisites

To complete THCT606 you should normally have completed THCT605 OR the Leuven (Enhancing Catholic School Identity) Study Tour organised through Catholic Education in Victoria, Queensland, or South Australia.

It is also important that you have a record of formal studies in theology, equivalent to at least introductory theology and introductory biblical studies. You will find it more helpful to have had further study in theology at Master’s level. It is possible for you to undertake other ACU units in summer or semester 1 to enhance your skill level prior to attendance in Rome.

Auditors are welcome, but should have a record of formal studies in theology.

Teaching staff

  • Professor Didier Pollefeyt (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven)
  • Professor Lieven Boeve (Catholic Education, Flanders, and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven)
  • Drs Jan Bouwens (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven)
