New Liaison Librarian for Law in Sydney

The Thomas More Academy of Law is very pleased to announce that Lesley Adukonu, who replaces Susan Shrubb, has accepted our offer for a liaison librarian for law and has commence her duties on 9 October 2015.

Lesley has extensive academic library experience and excellent knowledge of legal resources.  For the past ten years she has worked as a faculty liaison librarian for taxation law and criminology law for the law library at the University of Sydney, supporting a wide range of clients for their teaching, learning and research activities and mentoring the faculty liaison team.   Meanwhile, she was also working as a team leader, supervising coordinators and overseeing the collection services, reserve and document delivery services.  Prior to that, Lesley worked in various positions in the University of Sydney library, including a law extension librarian’s role for seven years (1998-2005).

Lesley enjoys working with undergraduate/postgraduate students and academic staff.  She has specialist knowledge of legal research and Endnote and is familiar with Libguides, using Springshare.
