It has been an adventurous journey for me. I have met many people and made awesome friends. Being part of the student association (MAKSA) I have met people from all walks of life. I have learned many skills and gained experiences that I will continue to use in the future.
I was part of the Mackillop Student Association at ACU North Sydney, and through MAKSA we promoted university events and enriched the student life at ACU. I also volunteered at the St Vincent Church in Redfern, called Sharing the Meal. It has been a great experience as I have observed how people with mental illness live their lives. It has been a grateful experience for me that I will never forget.
At this moment in my life, I am living and enjoying each day until I find my calling. Who knows, one day something that I will love will come up but in the meantime I am enjoying the work I am doing which is working in Hospitality. Hospitality has taught me a lot and I have met people and created friendships with people from all walks of life.
