Master of Business Administration (Executive). I learnt a lot from my peers and the professors, and have used and will use that experience gained in my current and future job. Working with peers from different industry backgrounds made the whole Executive MBA experience an enjoyable one.
I really enjoyed my time at ACU and the key reason for me was the class cohort and the experience I gained from it. It was a small class and it gave me a good opportunity to interact and share experiences with students with managerial expertise from different industries.
I am currently the Director, Diagnostics and Life Sciences Group at Sarstedt AG & Co, Australia and New Zealand. I implement sales programs by developing field sales action and marketing plans. I maintain and build sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. I also maintain sales staff results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising good results.
I have been a Technical specialist at Sigma - Aldrich; Account Manager at Roche Diagnostics; a National Product Marketing Manager at Roche Diagnostics and a Sales and Business Development Manager at PerkinElmer, Australia and New Zealand.
Throughout my Executive MBA, I gained an in-depth knowledge of all facets of business. Subjects such as finance, marketing, human resource management ensured that I have a holistic business focus, which in turn assists me to perform my job more efficiently.
I strongly recommend the ACU ExMBA to anyone considering doing an MBA. The lectures and group assignments allowed me to learn about critical business issues from different perspectives. The professors and support staff are friendly and approachable which makes it an enjoyable learning experience.
