Dominic Cudmore represented the Thomas More Law School at the Toongabbie Legal Centre's Continuing Legal Education Day held on Saturday, 11 March 2017 on the premises of the Toongabbie Christian School.

The Toongabbie Legal Centre (TLC) is a longstanding friend of the Thomas More Law School. 2017 marks the centre's 10th anniversary of service to vulnerable and disadvantaged people of Western Sydney.
TLC provides free legal assistance on a number of important legal issues. TLC operates with the help of over 100 volunteers, with rooms provided by the St Anthony's Catholic Church, Toongabbie, CatholicCare, Blacktown. TLC's clients represent diverse backgrounds and the centre provides advice on matters involving a range of legal policy issues, including migration matters.
TLC offers legal advice and assistance on Thursdays (6pm to 9pm) and Saturdays (9am to 1pm).

- Professional Responsibility: Ethics and Ethical Practice by Ms Linden Barnes, Senior Ethics Solicitor, NSW Law Society
- A Discussion of Legal Ethics in the World of Digital Disruptors by Mr John McKenzie, NSW Legal Services Commissioner
- The Rise of Litigation Funding and Class Actions and the Duties owed by Legal Practitioners by the Hon Justice Margaret Beazley AO, President of the NSW Court of Appeal and TLC Patron
- The Role of the Anti-Discrimination Board: Does it Concern You? by Ms Elizabeth Wing, Acting President, NSW Anti-Discrimination Board
The Thomas More Law School hopes to build on its excellent relationship with TLC and a number of our law students have already volunteered with the centre.
