The Thomas More Law School has continued its success in Mooting.
Foday Sesay and Alessandre Alonso progressed to the semi-finals of the competition
On Thursday, 10th August, two ACU mooting teams participated in the University of Wollongong Law Students Society and Australian National University Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice Intervarsity Criminal Law Moot.
The ACU teams mooted against law students from universities across the country. ACU's Alessandre Alonso and Foday Sesay progressed to the semi-finals of the competition. The team argued a complex case on evidence law. Alessandre Alonso was ultimately awarded the prize as Best Orator of the semi-final round.
On Friday, 13th October, the finals of the internal mooting competition, designed to engage first year law students in advocacy, took place at the North Sydney Court House.
