Masters student Sandra Raponi-Saunders, recently published a paper in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders. Her study showed that children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) seem to have more difficulty imagining future events compared to typically developing children. The way we behave is influenced by our expectations about the future. This research might help to explain why some children with ASD behave in inflexible ways.

Interestingly, we also found that older adults tend to be more influenced by the traits of the person making a financial offer than by the offer itself.
