We realise that making the initial contact with the clinic can be anxiety-provoking for many people. It does not need to be. For your benefit we have provided the below explanation to help you understand how we conduct our intake process.
For self-referred clients
Phone BPACC during business hours to make an appointment and specify if it is for counselling. Our friendly administration team will transfer you so you can speak directly with a provisional psychologist, who will ask you some initial questions about the services you require and how we can help you.
For referred clients
Clients are placed on a waiting list, and will be contacted as soon as possible. Your first appointment will be scheduled to last for 1.5 hours to allow for any paperwork to be completed.
