Alyse is a lecturer in Sport, Exercise and Health Psychology at ACU. Alyse worked as a lecturer at Victoria University for several years before beginning at ACU in 2016. Alyse is an AHPRA registered psychologist and has industry experience, having worked with several sporting organisations including AFL Victoria, AFL Academies programs, Womens’ High Performance Gymnastic Centre, Athletics Australia, and the Canoes Plus Racing Team. Alyse currently combines her work as a lecturer with her work as the AFL Umpires’ Psychologist. Alyse’s research interests include coach and athlete wellbeing, coach-athlete dynamics, and the mental and physical predictors of injury.
