The Faculty of Education and Arts, and the Faculty of Health Sciences held a Q&A event in July entitled: What are the attributes of a quality Catholic graduate teacher or nurse?
Geraldine Doogue, award winning ABC host and journalist, chaired a panel of distinguished professional and academic individuals from the education and health sectors.
Guests included ACU staff and students, alumni, School Principals, nursing coordinators, leaders of Religious Education, and IFCU delegates among others.
Panel members discussed the idea that graduates from a Catholic university whether in teaching or nursing, can bring a more holistic and service orientated depth to their profession.
The Q&A was followed by a reception at the ACU gallery on Brunswick street.
