ACU Success at the Mater Clinical Teaching and Learning Awards
The Mater Clinical Teaching and Learning Awards proved to be a real highlight for ACU. In every award category that we had a nominee; we were successful in securing the award.
Annabel Pike, ACU graduate of the Bachelor of Nursing. Winner of the Sr Eileen Pollard Graduate Nurse of the Year Award.
Chosen from 11 nominees, the award was given to the Graduate Nurse who has demonstrated excellence in clinical competence and patient centred care whilst nurturing collaborative relationships and displaying attributes of an exceptional nurse.
Kartini Dixon, ACU second year student completing Bachelor of Midwifery. Winner of the Health Professional Student of the Year Award.
Chosen from 4 nominees and awarded to the pre-entry student who has demonstrated exceptional initiative and commitment to their development as a health professional within the clinical environment, providing outstanding patient care within a collaborative team.
Katie Pullinger, ACU graduate of the Bachelor of Nursing and Graduate Diploma of Midwifery Winner of the Graduate Midwife of the Year Award.
Chosen from 4 nominees and awarded to the Graduate Midwife who has demonstrated excellence in clinical competence, exceptional collaborative partnerships and commitment to improving outcomes for women and their families. Meagan Lee, ACU graduate of the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery, was also a nominee in this category.
