ACU lecturer Julia Schmidt takes home Luria Award

We are very proud of Ms Julia Schmidt, an Occupational Therapy lecturer here at ACU. Julia took home the Luria Award at the recent Australasian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment (ASSBI) conference. The Luria award is presented for the best PhD of doctoral student presentation. Other awards presented at the conference include best abstract and best masters/honours presentation.

The conference was the 36th annual conference held in Hobart on 2-4 May. From its inception, ASSBI has provided a unique forum for multi-disciplinary research and clinical practice for Australasian professionals working in brain impairment.

ASSBI produces a high quality scientific journal called Brain Impairment. This journal publishes the abstracts from the ASSBI conference.
