Join teacher-student interaction specialist Jenny Mackay as she presents the session on Managing Challenging Behaviours. The one day professional development program is open to both new and experienced teachers, and interested others who wish to gain expertise in behaviour management in classrooms.

This valuable, engaging and highly-practical one-day workshop focuses on:

  • Interactive Management
    A process which provides educators with a means to plan for student behaviour and learn practical management techniques, skills and strategies to ‘get it right’ and when necessary to make reparation


  • Building Respect and Responsibility
    Gain insights knowledge, skills and strategies to build and maintain respect; enable positive student-teacher relationships; emphasise responsibility, self control and self discipline; build resiliency and self worth through honest encouragement.

Cost: $ 95.00 (Preservice teachers $35.00)

About the speaker: Jenny Mackay is a student engagement and management specialist. She has a practical approach to skills training. She focuses on the acquisition of practical and useful behaviour management skills to build positive student–teacher relationships.Jenny has extensive teaching experience throughout K-12 and in tertiary education in Australia and internationally in Great Britain, Australia, Turkey, Namibia, USA & South Africa.
