Master of Teaching (Secondary) (Professional Practice)
ACU Clinical Specialist
Under the supervision of an ACU Clinical Specialist, students will undertake classroom analysis to address an issue specific to their school. Students will benefit from the expertise of the University Clinical Specialist in analysing the classroom data and preparing customised research based practical solutions.
This unique approach ensures that teachers learn how to implement research based approaches to teaching and learning problems that have an immediate impact in their school. Participants will learn how to use assessment information to inform learning and teaching and improve student outcomes.
Supervising Mentor Teachers
It is well documented that early career teachers benefit from high quality mentoring within the school setting. Our collaboration with the Brisbane Catholic Education provides each student-teacher with a network of supervising mentor teachers. It is a significant advantage of this program, ensuring the graduates of this program will be profession-ready.
