Leaders Transforming Learning and Learners Project
Associate Professors Mick Bezzina and Charles Burford from the Centre for Creative and Authentic Leadership (CCAL) have completed work on the Leaders Transforming Learning and Learners (LTLL) (2005-2012) project.
A collaboration between the CCAL and CEOs across NSW, this research and professional development project places special emphasis on educational leadership in the Catholic sector. It aimed at facilitating increased understanding of leadership in Catholic schools through school workshops conducted in the Dioceses of Wilcannia Forbes, Lismore, Broken Bay and Wollongong.
The project was developed and implemented with nine schools (five primary and four secondary) as a professional learning program to assist schools and teachers transform their teaching and learning processes through leadership practices which emphasised sharing.
Over the period, the project has received very positive feedback from all stakeholders and has seen significant improvement in almost every school in the diocese.
