Education professor wins 2012 Endeavour Executive Award.
Professor Deborah Harcourt from ACU’s Brisbane campus has received the 2012 Endeavour Executive Award.
A researcher in the field of Early Childhood Education, Professor Harcourt will take this opportunity to undertake further professional activity and deepen her understanding of the enactment children’s rights in Nordic countries. In addition, she will draw together a group of academics and advocates from Australia, Denmark and Sweden to conceptualise a course on children's rights education for the generalist professional population.

The Endeavour awards are part of the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit based scholarship program which provides opportunities for citizens of the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia and abroad. The Endeavour Executive Award specifically provides professional development opportunities for high achievers in business, industry, education or government from participating countries.
