Register now to join General Peter Cosgrove and senior leaders from the Catholic education sector as they discuss and debate the ethical dilemmas facing educational leaders.
Gen Cosgrove is one of the keynote speakers at ACU's 6th International Conference on Catholic Educational Leadership which will be held from 12-14 August in Sydney.
Keynote speakers at the three day conference also include Dr Dan White (Executive Director, CEO Sydney), Dr Ruth Powell (Director, NCLS) and Mr Michael McGrath (Director, Scottish Catholic Education Service). Other participants in the conference include senior leaders in catholic education from over 15 countries including Canada, Scotland, Mauritius and the Philippines.
“The conference theme of Paradox and Possibility is particularly relevant in the current educational climate. Today’s leaders do not always have to differentiate between the good and the bad. Instead, they are challenged to choose the better of two goods, or the lesser of two evils,” explains Professor Tony D’arbon, Emeritus Professor at ACU’s Centre for Creative and Authentic Learning.
The conference provides national and international leaders of schools and university systems, congregational leaders, academics and researchers to engage in discussion, debate and analysis of the research in the area.
