I have convened and taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate education courses relating to English language and literacy and assessment, contributing to various programs including the Bachelor of Education (Secondary), the Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary), and the Bachelor of Education (Primary). Additionally, my postgraduate supervision is within the Doctor of Education program and the Doctor of Philosophy program.

I have examined several dissertations from Universities throughout Australia and internationally including those for the award of Master of Education, Master of Education Studies, Doctor of Philosophy, and Doctor of Education. In addition, I have acted as Chairperson of Examiners for several theses in Griffith University. I have acted as invited external assessor in the Faculty Small Grant Scheme, Monash University. National and international journals for which I have acted as a reviewer are named elsewhere. I have also provided several confidential reports to staff committee relating to staff performance in research, teaching and service, as considered for promotion and confirmation of tenure.
