Management of Not-for-Profit Organisations

Graduate Certificate in Management of Not-for-Profit Organisations

This is an executive level program which has been designed for senior decision makers and aspiring leaders of NFP organisations.

As this is a postgraduate qualification, participants are expected to have either a Bachelor degree or significant experience in a management role within the NFP sector.

The program is offered as a consortium program, with each cohort consisting of several members of an NFP organisation. To maximise results and enable knowledge to be applied most effectively, it is recommended that each organisation enrols 3 or 4 participants.

The program is comprised of 4 units delivered over 8 intensive weekends throughout the year. Face-to-face delivery encourages group discussion and knowledge sharing among participants, who also undertake work-based projects to ensure that learning is integrated into the workplace.

  • Marketing Management
  • Money management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Governance in the NFP sector

All units are led by faculty experts with extensive management experience in the NFP sector. Cohorts may also take part in a study tour to gain insight from suitable best-practice organisations.
