The Australian Catholic University warmly invites you to attend the 2018 Education Executive Symposium at the ACU Rome Campus
Focussing on ‘Reimagining Catholic Education: International Perspectives, delegates will have the opportunity to engage in personal dialogue with leading members of the Roman Curia and international speakers and discuss the unique challenges facing Catholic Education.

Saturday 8 September - Sunday 9 September Morning:
Optional Guided Tour of Assisi
Enjoy a personal and spiritual guided tour of the medieval town of Assisi, including the Basilica of St. Francis. Please indicate your interest in this additional event during registration so that further information can be forwarded to you. Additional charges apply.

Vice-Chancellor's welcome: cocktails and canapés at ACU Rome Campus Terrace.

Audience with Senior Curial Officials
Lunch adjacent to Vatican
Panel discussion featuring international guest speaker Father Dennis Holtschneider Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Ascension USA, who has oversight responsibility for Ascension Solutions Division subsidiaries, Ascension Ministry Service Center, as well as national Strategy and Advocacy functions.
He is also a faculty member in the Harvard Graduate School of Education Management Development Program, New Presidents Seminar and Experienced Presidents Seminar and the Boston College Institute for Administrators in Catholic Higher Education.
Dinner at the ACU Rome Campus
Tuesday 11 September:
Morning Mass at the Tomb of St Peter at the Basilica followed by a guided tour of sites of religious significance.
Keynote Speaker and Panel Discussion
Evening networking event at the Australian Embassy to the Holy See.
The symposium will commence on the afternoon on Sunday 9 September 2018 and will conclude following dinner Wednesday 12 September 2018.
The optional overnight Assisi Tour commences on Saturday 8 September 2018 (details to be provided to interested attendees).

ACU Rome Campus is located on the Janiculum Hill between the historic neighbourhood of Trastevere below and the modern neighbourhood of Monteverde above. Trastevere is especially known for its restaurants and lively night life.
The neighbourhoods of St. Peter’s (Borgo), Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and the Ghetto are easily accessible from the Rome Campus.

Delegates will include Directors of Catholic Education from dioceses, Religious Institutes and Ministerial PJPs; Chairs and Executive Officers of Catholic Education Commissions. The second half of the program will be shared with Executive Leaders from Catholic Healthcare organisations.
