Away From Base Courses
The Away From Base (AFB) programs are a practical option for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
AFB involves studying via online learning combined with intensive residential blocks twice a semester. Tutorial support is offered free of charge, as close as practicable to the student’s home base.
Government funding supports the travel, accommodation and meal costs for AbStudy compliant students participating in the intensive block.
Prospective Indigenous students may apply by direct entry to one of the listed undergraduate programs currently on offer at ACU.
