Beyond Disadvantage

Beyond Disadvantage is one of three core themes of the Institute for Advancing Community Engagement (IACE) Beyond Today agenda. Beyond Disadvantage focuses ACU's community engagement on reaching out to those in our communities who are most in need. the disadvantaged and marginalized. It challenges staff and students to engage meaningfully with those who are disadvantaged and marginalised. Beyond Disadvantage seeks to achieve improved outcomes for those in need, enabling them to re-engage with society.
