Catholic Identity and Mission
As a Catholic university, ACU shares in the rich heritage of the Catholic Christian tradition. Its work of education and research continues the long search of the Catholic community for knowledge, truth and understanding which contributes to human well-being.
Drawing on the values of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the principles enunciated in Catholic Social Teaching, the University "explicitly engages the social, ethical and religious dimensions of the questions it faces in teaching and research, and service." (ACU Mission Statement)
